Robotic Assembly
DESCRIPTION
CONTENT & APPROACH
The goal is design materialization with a focus on assembly, how the parts and components are coming together. 1st-year groups continue with pavilion design and 2nd-years will focus on their graduation project on Monday and Tuesday. in these 2 days we will have individual sessions with each of graduating students. From Tuesday afternoon, we all work together on design to robotic production of the prototypes, advancing the computational design strategies and developing the macro to micro geometry of the design proposals. There will be 3 parallel design to robotic production and assembly projects: Wood pavilion prototype, concrete metal pavilion prototype, wood and 3D printing node/joint prototype.
