Instructions to prepare for Friday 15 Feb

Title

Introduction/Software Installations

Objective

Have everything downloaded ready to use for the duration of the course.

Description

Needed software packages: Rhino 6 + Grasshopper

Rhinoceros 6.0: Can be downloaded from the Blackboard(https://blackboard.tudelft.nl/bbcswebdav/institution/TDS/software/software.html).
Go on Installation tab and follow the instructions.

Grasshopper: from http://www.grasshopper3d.com/
Open Grasshopper and choose File > Special Folders > Components folder. Save any plugin GHA file there. Right-click the file > Properties > make sure there is no "blocked" text. Restart Rhino and Grasshopper.

- Install Millipede: go to http://www.sawapan.eu/ and select millipede in the bottom of the menu.
- https://www.karamba3d.com/ for the Karamba plugin for grasshopper for structural analysis and calculations.
